There would be no Canada without the canoe! There is a rich history of canoeing in Canada and on our discovery trips we celebrate this heritage along with the spectacular environments we traverse. 

 We are also big believers that “play” is vital at all stages of life. The canoe is where we at Ridge Wilderness allow our imaginations to run wild and free! 

Come along with us and discover all the beauty and wonder BC has to offer on one of our day long trips.


The Harrison Salmon Discovery

The Harrison is Canada’s first named Salmon Stronghold where the clear water and gentle current give way to an overflow of vibrant red salmon from late September to mid November.

During the voyage, our guides will share the history of canoeing, and also tell stories of the 1000 year old First Nations Pictographs, harbour seals, eagles, osprey, vultures and 

the spectacular salmon!



Price per person: $98.95

(Includes Lunch)


Group Rate (over 15 people): $74.21

Minimum to Maximum Participants: 4-160 persons

Widgeon Creek Discovery

Paddling a winding creek, surrounded by snow-peaked mountains with birds dancing around your canoe. At the creeks end we go for an amazing walk/hike to spend some time taking in the view at Widgeon Falls. An amazing way to spend a day.

False Creek Discovery
Come represent our Canadian heritage on this paddle through Vancouver. Our painted Birch bark canoes are always a sight to behold on the urban False Creek.
